BERTIE Understanding Type 1 Diabetes

We’ve partnered with BERTIE Online to bring you an updated foundation course on Type 1 Diabetes. This course offers a one-stop shop for evidence-based, interactive courses tailored to empower and support people living with Type 1 diabetes.

This course is an introductory course that provides information about type 1 diabetes.
 It focuses on what diabetes is, how it is treated, complications that may occur, as well as what you can do to keep yourself healthy. The topic list (to the right) will give you an idea of all the information covered.

This course:

Is for anyone that has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes

Will take no more than 4 hours to complete

Can be completed at your own pace and doesn’t have to be in one sitting
